I love the way cabaret has given you freedom that you couldn't find in the classical music genre. I find the constrictions of that business a bit daunting and I applaud this new beginning!!
Thanks, Celia! A new beginning, yes. I did find freedom in classical music, too, in creating a niche for myself, firmly planting myself in my chosen fach (damn the naysayers), and producing my own shows. Those of us who march to our own drummer will always find a way!
